Café La Barque : first financed project
Retreeb proudly announces the financing of its first associative project in Tours !
We are proud to be able to contribute to the development of local associative projects thanks to our users. Retreeb is convinced that every little act counts and that our commitment to donate a portion of our revenue to solidarity projects can make a real difference. Sharing is at the heart of our business model and we have just financed our first project : "The Solidarity Luggage Storage", a project carried out by the La Barque association, in Tours.
La Barque is an associative café that welcomes people in precarious situations and without a fixed home on a daily basis. The association meets a real need by acting on behalf of people who need support and guidance without discrimination.
The Solidarity Luggage Storage is a project aimed at providing a safe storage place for people without a fixed home to store their belongings during a workday.
The project is already underway and the luggage storage will consist of nine individual lockers made from recycled wood, each secured with a padlock. This project is carried out by a padlock. This project is carried out by a carpenter from Tours active in the local associative world.
Thanks to the use of our first Retreebers, the Solidarity Luggage Storage project is going to materialize. Soon, people visiting the La Barque café will be able to leave their belongings safely during their working hours. We are proud to contribute to improving their daily lives and help them reintegrate through employment.
